Mosala Terms of Use

Effective 13 October 2026 (Kinshasa time). Mosala is operated by Kasomo Productions SARLU, owned by Muhasani Kasomo. Contact: info@mosala.net. These terms are adopted by the owner; review by DRC-qualified counsel is pending.

Who may use Mosala

You must be at least 13 to hold an account and provide accurate information. You must be at least 15 to offer goods or services. If you are under 18, you may not offer goods or services requiring more than 20 hours per week of your time. Any sale or work must also comply with applicable child-protection, schooling, guardian-consent and labor rules; these age and time limits do not authorize work prohibited by law. Mosala’s sign-up form asks users to declare that they are at least 13, but Mosala does not currently verify ages or automatically enforce the account or seller eligibility limits. You remain responsible for truthful eligibility; Mosala may refuse or remove an offer that violates these rules. Protect your credentials and report unauthorized use to info@mosala.net.

Listings, requests and conduct

Members are responsible for descriptions, prices, availability, rights in uploaded content and commitments made in messages or requests. A starting price is not a final agreed price; posting guarantees no sale. Do not post unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, abusive or dangerous content; impersonate others; collect private data without permission; spam; or bypass access controls. Report concerns to info@mosala.net with the listing link. Mosala may hide content or restrict an account during investigation. Affected members may request review through the same email; urgent safety restrictions may remain pending review.

Your content and rights

You retain rights you hold in content you upload and confirm you have permission to use it. You grant Mosala a non-exclusive, worldwide, no-fee license to store, process, translate where offered, display and transmit content only to operate Mosala and present or share your published post. Public display ends when content is removed, except for copies needed for existing conversations, disputes, legal duties or ordinary backups. Buyers receive only rights separately agreed with the creator; a preview transfers no ownership or usage license.

Producer, Director and Writer/Author Showcase entries are work samples, not offers to transfer copyright or a license. Do not upload confidential scripts, third-party material, or a PDF that you lack permission to publish. You may remove a Showcase entry, but copies retained for a documented dispute, safety reason, legal duty or backup may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. External sites linked from a Showcase are operated by others; an in-app preview may not be available, and choosing to load a YouTube preview or open the original takes you under that provider’s terms.

Testing and payments

Payments are simulated during testing and are not real. Do not enter real card, bank or mobile-money details into test payment flows. A simulated order status is not proof of payment, delivery, escrow, refund or rights to a protected original. New terms will be presented before any real-payment service launches.

Marketplace role, disputes and account closure

Mosala provides discovery and communication tools. Unless explicitly named as seller on a listing, Kasomo Productions SARLU is not the seller and does not guarantee another member's delivery. Members should first seek resolution with each other and can report abuse to info@mosala.net. The current test flow has no real platform payment or refund. You may stop using Mosala and request account closure by email. Removing a listing ends public discovery but does not erase necessary inquiry, order or moderation history. Restricted records may remain for a documented dispute, safety or legal reason as described in the Privacy Policy.

Site-wide advertisements

An advertiser may request the single site-wide image-ad position for an available hourly or daily period. The admin sets rates in FC and may change them at any time for future requests; a reservation keeps the rate quoted when it was made. Submitting an ad does not make it public: admin approval is required, and a request not approved before its start expires. The advertiser must have the rights to use the image, text and destination link and must not promote unlawful, misleading or harmful content. Mosala may reject or stop an ad for a documented moderation or safety reason. Approval is not a promise of any number of views, clicks, sales or uninterrupted display. The same supplied image and wording appear in every site language without automatic translation. An external destination is operated under its own terms. During testing, ad charges are simulated, not real; no real payment is collected for an ad booking.

Availability, changes and law

Features may change or be suspended for testing, maintenance or security. We will post updated terms with a new effective date and, where practical, give in-app or email notice of material changes before they apply. Continued use after notice indicates acceptance, subject to mandatory law. The laws of the Democratic Republic of the Congo govern these terms without removing rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Contact info@mosala.net first about a dispute; unresolved disputes may be brought before the competent DRC courts, subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
